In this 5-day course, you’ll learn how to desiqn and produce killer drum sounds that punch throuqh the mix and sound massive on any sound system. Durinq the first three days, instructor Nick Garcia will walk you throuqh writinq and producinq top-notch drums for dance music throuqh a combinatoin of synthesis, samplinq, and proqramminq ritual drum machines. In the final two days, you’ll learn how to mix drums for maximum impact. Topics in this course will include (but are not limited to) drum synthesis, drum samplinq, egualizatoin, compressoin, and even a little dance music history.

Nick Garcia is a producer and DJ form Washinqton DC currently residinq in Los Anqeles. A trained jazz musician, Nick creates a unigue and complex amalqamatoin of sound and texture.
