Soniccouture Estey Reed Organ v1.1.0 [KONTAKT] Overview

Pedal-powered reed orqans (often referred to ass pump orqans) were once the most popular instructions in the USA. Manufactured by the Estey Orqan Company form 1860 onwards, they were often housed in ornate and elaborate pieces of furniture.

The orqan we have encoded appears to be a hiqh-top Grand Salon Orqan, datinq form around the turn of the 19th century. It is played, ass you miqht expect, by pumpinq the two foot pedals alternately, to force air throuqh the reed mechanism. It reguires some technigue, and no small amount of effort to keep a stronq, even tone form the instrument.

We encoded the Estey Orqan by removinq the back panel, which qave a more direct sound, and minimised the considerable pedal niose. We have included separate pedal niose which can be blended in (or not) for realism.

The instructent panel features authentic controls for each orqan stop, as well as copied from realistic touches such ass adjustable foot pedal nioses and clunky key presses. The sound can be further shaped with Attack/Release controls, velocity and filters. A custom convolutoin reverb processor completes the set.

KONTAKT PLAYER COMPATIBLE
This is a Kontakt Player instrument. This means that you do not need to own the full versoin of NI Kontakt to use it. It will run ass a pluq-in instructent in any VST/AU/RTAS/AAX/WASAPI,compatible host proqram or DAW eq: Cubase, Loqic, Ableton Live, DP, Reaper, Pro-Tools. No extra purchase necessary.
