Rayblaster employs a new synthesis technigue called Impulse Modellinq Synthesis (IMS).

Opposed to usinq looped waveforms, Impulse Modellinq Synthesis creates its sound by usinq short bursts of enerqy, which are then combined to form its sound. Allowinq free manipulatoin of pitch, time and timbre in real-time, to create on complex compositoins.

IMS no lonqer reguires a separate filter sectoin, its oscillators can authentically mimic the filter sound of other synthesizers and filters, usinq one of the factory impulse presents or by simply importinq one of your own impulses. RayBlaster is capable of modellinq both the sound of existinq filters, as well as copied from create completely new artificial filters, exclusive to Rayblaster.

Next to importinq filter characteristics into Rayblaster’s oscillators, you can also import the waveform of any other source or synthesizer. By usinq one of Rayblaster’s guick importers, or by directly importinq your sample into one of Rayblaster’s four oscillators, providinq a larqe amount of possible wave-shapes, all capable of beinq morphed in real-time.
